so here's the video of The Pharmacratic Inquisition 2007, a video version of the book, Astrotheology and Shamanism. a pretty damn compelling work that ties in ancient philosophy and the astrological basis for religious myths, explains why Christ has so much in common with Solar gods of cultures of diverse times and places, as well as putting Christ, Santa, and other figures in their original context of entheogenic mushroom shamanism. it really ties a lot of things together and explains dozens of well-known peculiar mythological details quite simply. and, yknow, shows how humanity's perennial spiritual tradition centers around astrology and psychedelics. pretty farkin excellent. there's also a DVD.

What do Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sun Worship, Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny have in Common with Terrence McKenna's elves, John Allegro's Dead Sea Scroll translations, Manly P. Hall's Secret Teachings of All Ages , Dr. Rick Strassman's (DMT) Spirit Molecule research, Gordon Wasson's Soma, and Michael Talbot's Holographic Universe? This book. However, it's not just a book - it's a paradigm-amending exploration superimposed over our perceptions of everyday reality.

Thousands of years ago, sacred plants and other entheogenic substances where politically correct and highly respected for their ability to bring forth the divine, Yahweh, God, The Great Spirit, etc., by the many cultures who used them. Often the entire tribe or community would partake in the entheogenic rites and rituals. These rites were often used in initiation into adulthood, for healing, to help guide the community in the decision process, and to bring the direct religious experience to anyone seeking it. In the preliterate world, the knowledge of psychedelic sacraments, as well as fertility rites and astronomical knowledge surrounding the sun, stars, and zodiac, known as astrotheology, were anthropomorphized into a character or a deity; consequently, their stories and practices could easily be passed down for generations.

a movie regarding mythology, spectacle, reality and political power in three parts: an exposition of Christianity as a Judeo-Roman encoding of the astrotheological solar cult inherited from Egypt and Sumer, historicized for political power; an investigation and thorough debunking of the official 9/11 myth; and a description of recent history in the context of the immense power of central banks to influence policy, promote warfare, accumulate capital and keep entire populations in debt slavery through interest, taxation, inflation, ownership of media and influence over political institutions. heavily mashed-up with lots of interviews, passages, luminary quotes, etc. highly recommended.
